DISHPlayer Personal Television (PTV) Services
DISHPlayer PTV services are digital VCR-like features including TV Pause; program skip, fast-forward and rewind; as well as digital video recording capabilities. TV Pause is currently available, and the additional features will be available later this year. Better yet, you can get the PTV services with a simple software download from your satellite dish antenna - which means the DISHPlayer you buy today is equipped for future product enhancements.

CAN I GET PHONE CALLS WHEN I'M SURFING THE WEB?

Yes. The DISHPlayer system with WebTV Plus has a special feature that alerts anyone with call-waiting that they have an incoming call while they are online. WebTV Plus will automatically disconnect so the call isn't missed. Once the call is complete, you can pick up where you left off, on the Internet or composing E-mail, without missing a beat.

WHAT IF I ALREADY HAVE AN INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER IN MY HOME FOR MY COMPUTER?
If you already have an account with an ISP, you can use it to access WebTV Plus service (OpenISP™). The monthly subscription fee for OpenISP is decreased from $24.95 a month to $14.95 a month when you use your own ISP for WebTV Plus service. At the time of sign-up, you need to indicate that you'll be using the OpenISP option.
