DIRECTV® DVR
DIRECTV, Inc., provider of the nation's leading digital multi-channel television service, has teamed up with TiVo, Inc. to develop the new DIRECTV DVR, an integrated digital video recorder and satellite receiver that allows customers to customize their viewing experience among the more than 225 digital-quality channels available from DIRECTV. The DIRECTV® DVR combines both DIRECTV® programming and TiVo® technology into one seamlessly integrated set-top box that can record a viewer's favorite shows - all without videotape.
DIRECTV® DVR WITH TIVO®
Combined with the wide variety of DIRECTV programming, the DIRECTV® DVR with TiVo® service gives viewers more convenience and control of their television viewing experience. With the DIRECTV Advanced Program Guide- (APG) customers can find and schedule recordings up to 14 days in advance**.
With dual tuners, the DIRECTV® DVR enables customers to record two programs, as well as watch a pre-recorded program all at the same time, or record one program while watching another***. The service provides viewers with the ability to pause, instant replay and rewind live TV, and fast forward and playback recorded programs in normal speed, slow motion or frame by frame. The hard disk drive in the DIRECTV DVR digitally records programming so viewers can watch shows whenever they want. In addition, customers can also create a Season PassTM, which will automatically record every episode of their favorite shows, all season long, even if two shows are on at the same time. By using the WishlistTM feature, viewers can easily tell their receiver to find shows based on their favorite actors, directors, teams and interests.
DIRECTV SERVICE
DIRECTV offers access to more than 225 channels of programming, including more than 30 premium movie channels (by subscription), digital quality music, original programming, up to 55 pay per view selections each day, special events and local channels in select metropolitan markets nationwide. Professional and collegiate sport subscriptions are also offered by DIRECTV including programming packages not available from any other television service provider, such as NFL SUNDAY TICKETTM and MEGA MARCH MADNESS®. DIRECTV offers a wide variety of programming packages and options to suit any viewer's needs, and all DIRECTV programming packages offer access to the DIRECTV® Pay Per View channels.

The DIRECTV® DVR with TiVo® service fee of $4.99 per month is waived for all customers subscribing to the TOTAL CHOICE® PREMIER package'.
